Medulloblastoma, is the most common malignant primary brain tumor in children. There have been many advancements in the last decade towards managing it, however, the success rates in management are higher in developed countries as compared to those in the developing countries. The current guidelines provided by Indian Society of Neuro‑Oncology (ISNO) provide recommendations for physicians to achieve better care and management of medulloblastoma in the Indian context.

The differences seen in success rates in managing medulloblastoma in developed and developing countries could be attributed to the socio-demographic differences, health-care disparity, and lack in uniformity of care. Patients with medulloblastoma require a multi-disciplinary treatment approach for optimal outcomes.
