Injuries to the spinal column can be severe mainly due to their potentially severe long-term consequences. With the aim of providing a uniform framework for the treatment and management of spinal cord injuries (SCI) and spinal cord fractures, the American College of Surgeons (ACS) released a set of guidelines in March 2022.
