The National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) project under the government flagship health scheme ‘Ayushman Bharat' is all set to provide the comfort of digitization in healthcare. In this regard, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has recently proposed a ‘National Digital Health Blueprint’ wherein specialized identification cards (IDs) would be made available for citizens providing ‘Aadhar-like’ database for the healthcare professionals. The decision comes under the National Health Policy (NHP) and would harness the digital technology for enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services in India.
