I have a patient who was diagnosed with a plasmacytoma at the age of 78.Her sister, interestingly, died of the same disease. Is there a hereditary syndrome that predisposes to MM  or it is just a coincidence? My patient has a daughter, the nurse is with us Ironically - and of course now a little worried.

Is there a screening to address this concern? If this results in a therapeutic effect?
