My patient is 11 year old boy with complain of fever since 1 week .some other doctor gave chloroquine course for 3 days and fever went off. After 1 day again fever came and now it is continuous with no chills . Max temperature noted is 103 which subsides with paracetamol tablet. I did PS for MP . Which came out to be P. Falciparum positive.
Then I gave Tab lumerax but patient is not responding to treatment. Fever coming again and again. I have sent blood for dangue., typhoid, and malaria again . Urine for routine and microscopy.i have started inj. Monocef today. What should I do further?
