Ever since the medical profession was brought under the Consumer law , technically we ceased to belong to a  ' noble profession ". While we may argue within our circles, that we still carry out a noble profession, the law has stopped recognising our nobility. The ' Hippocratic Oath ' , was a solemn undertaking, by those who chose to render a noble service towards the society.The society too ,respected them and conferred on them the distinguished title called ' Doctor' . This title was so much respected that in the past ,while filling out forms, there used to be a unique entity as Dr; eg: Mr__ Mrs__Dr__.

Those days are over now. We deal with ' customers ' now, we still call them ' patients ' .The Government (through the consensus of the scoiety ) has forced it upon us . My question to all my Doctor brothers and sisters: If I am to render my ' services' to a ' client ' , how far is a '…
