This is true that corporate hospitals are mostly interested in making their money without thinking about person's economical background. Actually big corporate hospital are not for middle class peoples. I recently went to one hospital at thane Fortis hospital, My relative was admited there for 2 days ( Total 45 hours) & that pt. expired after 45 hrs. They gave me bill of 285000/- I was totally shocked - for simple I & D procedure they charged 68000/- & at 2.00 o clock night even with insurance they were not giving discharge. As a doctor i requested that pt was insured, already insurance was granted. Then they made another bill for cash transaction.
