Running through our body is a network of channels and junctions called the lymphatic system, which drains out waste and fluids like a biological sewer, say, researchers or in medical language Interstitial fluid or fluid between two cells after cellular function is drained in blood through a chain of lymphatics back in blood initiating our protective immune system. The research further suggests that the vessels could act as a pipeline between the brain and the immune system as till now such lymphatics in the brain was identified."We literally watched people`s brains drain fluid into these vessels," said a senior investigator at a National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke in the US.
