Hyoscine is better anticholinergic than atropine or glycopyrrolate in adult and pediatric anesthesia practice. Because it has additional  properties like   Sedation ( Atropine is a stimulant). Anxiolysis  Antiemetic  Good Amnesic  Smooth muscle relaxant action   Decreased acid secretion in stomach etc.

We use amlodipine 5mg +  atenolol 50mg  tablet 1hour before any surgery so tachycardia caused. What are your views regarding the use of hyoscine in place of atropine?
