I have a patient 24 years old with Hypertension 220 / 170 mm Hg. He was being treated in most of the local hospitals. He complains of headache, and cough. But, he still has hypertension uncontrolled. His latest condition yesterday was 220/170, Routine Blood test within normal, KFT - 63 Urea, 4 Creatinine, Na K Ch raised. Ultrasound Normal. He has anaemia 9 gms.
Chest X Ray shows cardiomegaly, tachycardia present. He is on acetaminophen 20 mg, metroprolol 50 and furosemide 1 tab od. His BP flactuates and from normal 120 to 80 and rising up to 180 by 140 in the evenings. Your thoughts and comments awaited. Thanks.
