Researchers have recently decoded an immune response to COVID-19, and interestingly, four distinct immune cell populations were identified. These insights greatly hold the potential to enable the fast development of vaccines against the COVID-19 and to simplify the process of predicting the disease prognosis. Researchers were able to identify the insights with the help of a case which has been elaborated below. Case presentation – A 47-year-old woman from Wuhan presented with lethargy, sore throat, dry cough, pleuritic chest pain, mild dyspnea and subjective fevers for four days.

History – She had a travel history from Wuhan to Australia 11 days before the presentation. She denied any contact with seafood or prior-infected individuals.
