Some time back, I read an advertisement offering Rs 8000/-pm to a doctor and Rs 10,000/- pm for a driver for part-time job. We also read in media regarding strike by fresh graduate doctors regarding less pay compared to their subordinates in a prosperous State. Why doctors are being paid so less ? Demand and supply theory is understandable, yet they deserve more !
