At the Pune International Centre–Wipro lecture series on science, technology, and society, Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, principal advisor at the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme and former Chief Scientist at the World Health Organization, made a compelling call for greater government investment in healthcare.
