India is facing a silent oral health crisis, with 90% of the population suffering from dental problems, yet only 9% visiting a dentist regularly. Recent national data show that 41% of people are at high risk for cavities, 44% for gum disease, and 14% for tooth staining, while 72% face at least one major oral health concern. The country’s average oral health score stands at just 2.6 out of 5.

Recognizing this challenge, a renowned oral care company, in partnership with the Indian Dental Association (IDA), launched the year-long Oral Health Movement (OHM), screening over 4.5 million people across 18,000+ pin codes and more than 700 districts.
