Intolerance means unwillingness to accept views, beliefs, or behavior that differ from one's own. It also is defined as incapacity or indisposition to bear or endure. This word “Intolerance” has been used in many different contexts in India and often in healthcare specially regarding doctors and patients, where resort to violence from patients and relatives has been labeled as intolerance against doctors. In this short write-up, I wish to bring out the other aspect of this terminology “Intolerance”.

Intolerance of us as medical professionals towards the lacunae, the deficiencies, the gaps in the entire healthcare system.
