A 60-year-old patient to be posted for elective surgery, have ischemic changes on ECG. The physician has given fitness after doing her ECHO.

My question is whether it is mandatory to take the opinion of superspecialist (cardiologist) for medicolegal purpose? Please give your valuable comments.
