Most Doctors particularly those who are in practice but do not have specialization in clinical subjects do not write name of speciality after doing PG as MD,MS,DNB etc as suffix or below their name over their name plate or on sign board or prescription pad or slip. While  those who have done specialisation  in clinical subjects write speciality clearly as a result Patient can't determine or assess Doctors clearly whether doctor has done MD in medicine or biochemistry or community medicine or pharmacology so patients visit these doctors thinking as specialist in clinical subject as per their disease.

Similarly many doctors who are doing MS in Anatomy write MS only so patients understand them surgeon but they are not MS in general surgery, same way Doctors doing DNB in non clinical subject write only DNB while those doing in clinical subject write DNB surgery,medicine or super speciality…
