An intensive screening campaign in Potka block, East Singhbhum district, Jharkhand, identified 26 new cases of cerebral malaria and 18 additional malaria cases after 507 residents were screened across affected villages. The newly reported cerebral malaria cases add to the 24 cases detected between June 25 and June 29, reflecting the ongoing outbreak in the district.
