Please suggest me whether surgery needed or not. My patient is having ACL avulsion fracture in March first week. MRI REPORT (of March ): Anterior Tibial eminence avulsion involving entire anterior cruciate ligament insertion with 5-7mm elevation, this avulsion fracture also involves anterior root attachment lateral meniscus. No ligament tears.

First one week he his having large effusion but now he don't have any swelling. ONLY COMPLAINT IS he isn't able to keep his leg straight during sleeping time(pain) , standing and walking no difficulty. Some doctors suggest me to go for surgery but some doctors adviced me to leave it for few months and if he develop pain or any problem will go for surgery otherwise no need of surgery. I did shown them MRI and X-ray film, but other doctors told me that in future he may develope meniscal tear so better go for surgery but one doctor told that just…
