Laparoscopic Transabdominal Retromuscular (TARM) repair is a novel, safe, efficacious, and cost-effective technique to treat ventral hernias using polypropylene mesh. It provides the benefits of Rives-Stoppa repair via laparoscopy. This novel technique was introduced due to the complications associated with intraperitoneal onlay repair.
