Some years ago my wife had a severe nocturnal cough.The cough was dry, non-productive. It was usually mild during day time but became severe at night while lying in bed. No findings on clinical exam. Blood picture normal, x-ray chest normal. I tried several antibiotics, cough syrups, antihistaminics and even tried diethyl carbamazine citrate without any effect.This continued for 1 month and she could not sleep at night for the cough.
I was exasperated when my colleague suggested that it may be allergic cough and asked me to try tab Deletus /deletus D syrup. Within 2 days there was no cough. Later I tried this on many patients having similar complaints and it gave an exceptional result. This is posted here for help to others.
