A diabetic patient with FBS 110mg,PLBS 150mg with good diet control on Glimipride 2mg OD.Riecebntly Thyrocare reported HBA1C as 8.1 with three months average blood glucose as 186mg.Other investigations of diabetic profile are near normal.Inview of the Thyrocare report is it necessary to add extra drug? Same patient if he skips breakfast he suffers with excess urine.But if he takes breakfast either with chapathi or other thing he gets normal urine.Please advice.
