A 3 year old male child came to me with history of 4 days of diarrhoea with mucus & blood & frequent vomiting & since 1 day he is having fever(99 degree F).He was complaining of some abdominal pain but could not locate.He had attended  OPD at a govt PHC(N) on day2 & took medicines but not able to tell what they were.No documents were available.There was no improvement but condition deteriorated further.Feeding disturbed by frequent vomiting & sleep by frequent stools.Urination nomal frequency & normal colour.His mother requested  to give syrups in place of tablets as he did not take tablets properly .I am also working in a govt PHC(N).
