If a patient says he had a thorn prick but he is not sure if any part of it is still in the wound but invisible & the site shows signs of infection,what should be done ? a.Daily frequent Hot fomentations till it ripens without worrying about development of fever/complications,then after 2-3 days  I&D to drain pus along with which the remaining foreign body also comes out b.Surgical exploration,X-ray,TT,Antibiotics
