After 7 long years spent in the pursuit of justice for my deceased brother, the MCI finally made its stand clear in its decision letter which says that the patient was treated as per the standard medical procedure and guidelines. The letter dated 29/11/2017 very clearly reflects the level of corruption in what was once an august institution. The patient walked into the casualty ward of the hospital on 7/4/2010 at 11.15 pm. His reports were alarming with a platelet count of 17000/cmm, Neutrophil 6%, Blast Cells 34% ,Metamyelocytes 28 %, Promyelocyes 10 %, Myelocytes 12 % and there were also red rashes on his skin which was accompanied by a slight oozing of blood from the mouth.
