MCI Inspection in different Medical Colleges is limited to mere recommendation for issuing or not issuing LOP or LOR for UG and PG. According to my opinion, the role of MCI should be rating the Medical Colleges through a appropriate rating system and to make a graphical presentation over years and recommendations for its improvements, like the Growth Monitoring of a child and not to make a Medical College pass or fail in a MCI Inspection.
Can MCI ensure Quality of Health and Medical Care from PHCs up to Medical Colleges through a quality care rating system?
