E-cigarettes are the leading cause of preventable death in the US. Cigarettes and its usage in the US have become an epidemic among teens. In a measure to drive the young population away from tobacco products, the Food and Drug Administration announced a series of move to avoid such addiction. The agency announced that they are working to ban flavor cigars and menthol cigarettes from the market and, they would restrict sales of other flavored e-cigarettes in stores and online as well.
This ban on menthol will be requiring new regulations and it would take a couple of years to go into effect.
