Patients with chronic diseases after hearing from doctors that their disease is incurable and they have to take treatment/ measures lifelong, most of them became the prey of false claims of complete cure of quacks resulting in paying off high cost and putting their lives in great risks.Their treatment generally contains powdered corticosteroids. "A Study confirmed that more than50% of powdered formulations were positive for corticosteroids." I met a patient of bronchial asthma who took treatment from a quack rejecting treatment of qualified doctor at a heavy cost. He told of having dramatic relief initially but, has to admit in an emergency for aggravation of bronchial asthma.
This is nothing else than due to the sudden withdrawal of corticosteroids. What Is your opinion on this issue? Kindly share your experience.
