I may be excused to use the term medical violence as it is a peculiar phenomenon limited to medical people. As we understand, the relationship between a doctor and patient is delicate, fragile, mutually nurturing and based on faith. If we take out emotions, then it is reduced to a commercial transaction like a seller and buyer of a service. Our culture does teach us, to respect elders, educated, women and healers. Despite this and existing laws including a wise narrative of honourable SC, there is no respite from bad behaviour and violence in every form against doctors.
I agree that rising stress in modern times has caused two social casualties e.g. civility and humility. People are adopting a fake persona, fake relationships, fake idols and living in the unrealistic world for which they deserve our clemency as many are even unaware of their projected personalities.
