mondor's disease is benign scelorising superficial thrombophlebitis of breast and anterior abdominal wall,only few hundred cases detected so far, a lady 42 years old presented with c/opainless, cord like fibous structure extendening from left ant abdonal wall to left breast. o/e no lump detected in both breasts and no palpable lymph nodes in left axilla,diagnosis of mondor's disease made.
disease is self limiting,respond to analgesics sometime can involve superficial veins of penis and axilla but upper & outer quadrent of breast alwayed spared by disease. this disease can also kept in mind in d/d of breast diseases.
