A recent report revealed the death of 20000 MS patients all over the world in 2012 compared to 12000 in 1990. On one hand, the research for MS treatment is expanding on a global scale, the management for MS patients in India needs more attention. This chronic condition results due to damage in the myelin sheath of nerve cells in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), which in turn results in the impaired conduction of signals in the affected nerves.
