A 25-year-old patient came for advise. He had a history of torsion testis at age 15 for which he was too late to reach a doctor and so the doctor said that he could not help to recover it, instead he advised to operate for another testis to prevent from torsion. The patient accepted nd underwent an operation to prevent torsion of another testis but day by day the testis which has undergone torsion was decreasing in size and now he has only one testis which is normal till date.
The patient has no other complaints of erectile dysfunction and now his doubt is whether it will create any problem in the future after marriage. I almost explained to him that there won't be any such problem but I still have a doubt whether to send for seminal analysis as I don't have much knowledge about it. I need some expert advice. So what should I advise him?
