In India,  cancer has emerged as a major public health disease burden which continues to touch every family in one or other way. Finding effective and suitable ways to treat cancer is one of the primary challenges faced by the medical community across the world. Cancer treatment is an intensive process requiring highly specialized clinical skills and there are concerns for clinicians and researchers that there is substantial overuse of aggressive care for patients with cancers.

Some procedures are implemented based on their individual judgment without sufficient evidence whether they might work for the specific patient or not. The alternative is an objective, peer-reviewed, evidence-based process, but this is only possible with timely diagnosis and usage of advanced diagnosis facilities to understand the magnitude and the molecular nature of the disease to be able to treat it.
