The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG, a centralised examination to select eligible candidates for admission in various medical colleges awarding MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS degrees in India is conducted every year by National Testing Agency, a society Registered under Societies Registration Act of XXI of 1820 for the last 3 to 4 years. This year the said examination was conducted on 5th May 2024 in which about 23 lac candidates appeared. Just after two days of exam the news flashed in media that the question paper had leaked before the day of examination. On 4th June 2024 suddenly the result was declared 10 days in advance.
