There has always been a stress to prevent hypothermia (<36.5 degree Celsius) in newborn just after delivery and a provision of "Hypothermia Bundle", However in subtropical and tropical countries of India, most of the months of the year are hotter with temperatures reaching 45 degrees. Should so much stress be given to hypothermia in newborns through normal vaginal deliveries?
