In 2014, results of the PARTNER study gave hopes to those HIV infected population who were on daily antiretroviral therapy (ART) around the globe. The study claimed zero risk of HIV transmission within HIV serodifferent couples who avoided condoms, where HIV positive positive partner was on ART and had an undetected viral load. In the similar lines, recently declared PARTNER-2 results further attested no transmission of HIV in 75,000 condomless acts. Understanding the fact that HIV infected people suffer huge burden of social distress and decreased quality of life, it is our duty to aware them that effective treatment prevents transmission.
