Hi Friends, I have one 17 year old, female patient with Mental retardation, capable of managing her daily activity with obesity and recent onset of Dimorphic anemia with Hb-5.3. No h/o bleeding. Menstruation normal. Developmental milestones normal except intelligence. Thyroid profile normal.
BP-normal. S.Bil-1.3 and rest reports WNL. Kindly suggest DD and further plan of management. I have ordered Iron studies, stool R/E and Vit B12 and folic acid level. Next plan for Bone marrow and then hormonal studies are in pipeline.
