33Y/F came to OPD with C/O Neck Swelling and Proptosis. I advised her USG neck which S/O - Both the Lobes of Thyroid and Isthmus are diffusely enlarged in size with heterogeneous altered echopattern, 2)Rt Lobe 3.9*2.8*1.8 and Left Lobe 3.9 *1.9*1.7 3)A 1.2*0.7 Hypoechoic area seen in right lobe of Thyroid at lower pole. 4) Conclusion of USG report is saying that it is suggestive of thyroiditis/goitrous enlargement. Her TFT reports are T3 166.25 ( 70-204) T4 is 11.65 ( 5- 12.5) and TSH is BELOW 0.01 , Anti TPO is > 1000 ( Normal is < 5.61) n ESR is 18. What other investigations can be done in this patient (like Thyroid Scan or anything else).

What would be the line of management? I am thinking of putting her on tablet Methimazole ( 10 mg) TDS, Tab. Inderal LA (10 mg) for Tachycardia and Palpitations, Tab. Omnacortil (20 mg) for neck Swelling for 15 days followed by tapered doses of 15 mg…
