A 25 year male patient admitted in emergency in unconcious state with deep jaundice, history revealed he is suffering from pulmonary TB(MDR) and he is on second line ATT since 18 month, he is nonalcoholic, non smooker and no other comorbid illness, on examination patient is unconcious not responding painfull stimuli ,deep jaundice and bilateral plantar reflex mute, cvs and respiratory system are within normal limit. We are thinking of drug induced hepatocellular jaundice with hepatic encephalopathy and sent all rutine test, i will update with reports once it comes Diagnosis? Treatment approach to this patiant.
On examination- pt is unconcious,today responding to painfull stimulus,BP,Pulse. Resp normal,no sighns of meningial irritation,no sighns of raised ICP,pupilary reflex present,deep jaundice present, plantar mute,hepatomegaly with shifting dullness present,chest and cvs within…
