In a maternity ward, a Woman complained about the misbehaviour of a resident doctor. Her family members filed a complaint with police about this incident. Police without seeking permission from hospital authorities and without following any norms entered Labour room wearing shoes in search of a resident doctor, so that complaint can be investigated. There were Male and female doctors and one Woman was waiting for her delivery- a condition where complete privacy is required.
With this behaviour of police, a great resentment prevailed among resident doctors who went on strike. There are two issues associated with this incident which need to be addressed. 1) Male resident doctors got annoyed with this complaint and were of opinion that it is baseless, if it continued, it will not be possible for them to work in the maternity ward. 2) Forcefully entry of police personnel in the Labour room…
