A 64-year-old  woman with multiple sclerosis was hospitalized. The treating team felt that her condition could get worse if the feeding tube wasn’t inserted for proper nourishment. The next morning, the patient agreed to the decision.

However, in the evening, before placing the tube, the patient got disturbed and seemed confused about her decision in the morning. She eventually refused the insertion. The next day, the patient wasn’t sure about her refusal in the evening, and finally agreed to the insertion.
