I had a lady this morning brought by her husband who was once my patient. He had brought so many papers to take my opinion. The patient was pregnant about 4 months. This was her 3rd pregnancy. She had severe pain in the rt. hypochondrium since 3 days.
She was already under of a Gynaec and her sonography showed aviable foetus, but since last 2 days she developed this rt. hypocondrial pain with vomiting and loss of apppetite. She was sent to Municipal hospital for treatment and needful. They did a sonography upper abdomen and found that she has calculi in the gall bladder. Here the question is what should the husband do.The question is, should a MTP be done followed by gall bladder surgery or should conservative treatment be advocated till she delivers?
