Dear doctors, there is a poor patient complaining of tinnitus and hearing loss post radiotherapy for Carcinoma Base of tongue. She was prescribed Moxifloxacin and phenylephrine ear drops. Are they effective?
What else can be done? I was thinking of prescribing otobiotic plus which contains beclomethasone, clotrimoxazole, ofloxacin and lignocaine but it will be limited to external ear or is it effective? Also is there a possibility of micro wick insertion in the ear drum, where can it be done at the cheapest cost?
