AnSim Messaging After PCI Despite strong evidence for cardiac rehabilitation , many patients do not access or sustain secondary prevention after percutaneous coronary intervention ( PCI ), leaving blood pressure and other risk factors suboptimally controlled. In this single‑blind, 2‑center Korean trial, 120 adults within one month of PCI were randomized 1:1 to receive a personalized smartphone messaging app (AnSim) plus usual care or usual care alone (both groups also used a neutral diary app), with tailored educational and motivational messages sent 6 times per week for 6 months and outcomes assessed at 6 and 9 months.

At 6 months, systolic blood pressure was virtually identical between intervention and control ( 124.9 vs 124.8 mmHg; between‑group difference 0.1 mmHg, 95% CI −5.4 to 5.6) and remained similar at 9 months (126 vs 128 mmHg; difference −2.0 mmHg, 95% CI −7.6 to 3.6).…
