A 23-yr-old female with poliomyelitis since childhood c/o recurrent abortion in last 2 yrs. In her married life of 2 yrs first abortion happened in 2 months, cause was unknown; 2nd abortion in 4 months, no cardiac activity; 3rd abortion in 6 months, no development shown by the fetus. Now she is again pregnant with 10 days due for L.MP. For last 2 yrs she did not underwent any investigation apart from USG as her in laws wanted sure result from the doctor, otherwise they didn't want any treatment. She complained of abdominal pain for which I prescribed her tab isoxpurine, tab progesterone and tab folic acid.
Investigations done: CBC, blood sugar ,torch, HIV, Hbsag, VDRL for both partners, urine, routine thyroid profile. What else should be investigated? I will keep updating once the pt. is back. Thanks in advance.
