A 40 year-old-female patient presented with recurrent lower urinary tract infections since the last one year. The initial investigations and USG did not yield any significant results. Investigations USG performed following the current presentation showed a 21 mm vegetating bladder lesion close to urethra. CT with contrast- 19 mm solid bladder lesion with contrast enhancement. Out of the suspicion of a primary GI lesion, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and PET scan were done and tumor markers (CA 19-9, CA 125, alpha-fetoprotein, and CEA) were evaluated.
All these investigations showed no abnormalities. Histopathological Findings Fragments of mucosa and muscular layers of the vesicle wall with spots of metaplasia and cystic glandular cystitis.
