With due respect to all my radiologist colleagues, I have noticed in my practice that in most of the cases of Xrays or ultrasounds, radiologists (barring few exceptions), mention only the radiological findings without giving any opinion of their own. The only sentence at the end of the report says: please correlate clinically.
I would like to know that as clinicians we order investigations to get some leads to the differential diagnosis and at times get stuck up when no opinion has been given. Please share your experiences.
