Case: I am 72 Years Female with the long standing chronic problem. Current Symptoms: Right side Scalp pain, now skeletal and/or involuntary muscle problem, such as constipation or low motility. Lack of Flatulence putting pressure on bladder. Associated with Anxiety to the extent of the panic attack, leading to a sudden rise of BP (200/100).
Extensive work up done in USA and here. Suggestive of Polymyalgia Rheumatica or Fibromyalgia or could be psycosomatic cause. Investigation: ESR mild to moderate + (25 to 60), presently 19(last test). ANA occasionally + (count of 1 in 100), MRI (brain) -ve Current Medications: Metoprolol XL 25 mg slow release in the morning, Cilnidipine and Telmisartan 10 mg at night Clopidogrel AP 150mg/day, Rosuvastatin 5mg, Ganaton 50mg, Alprazolam 0.5 mg, Domperidone and Naproxen 250mg bd, multivitamins My Question is: Is anxiety due to polymyalgia or vise a…
