Doctors at a private hospital in Gurugram have successfully helped a 62-year-old woman from Haryana stand and walk again after performing a complex robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery to correct a severe deformity caused by long-standing rheumatoid arthritis. The case was considered highly challenging because both of her knees had remained permanently bent beyond 90 degrees, leaving her unable to stand or walk for nearly three years and forcing her to crawl to move around.
