Bronchial Asthma immunotherapy in bronchial asthma refers to advanced treatment approaches that regulate the immune system to reduce airway inflammation and allergic responses. The phrase “from bench to bedside” highlights the journey of scientific discoveries made in laboratories being transformed into effective clinical treatments for asthma patients. Research on immune mechanisms, allergens, cytokines, and inflammatory cells has led to the development of allergen-specific immunotherapy and targeted biologic drugs such as anti-IgE and anti-interleukin therapies.
These treatments help improve asthma control, reduce the frequency of attacks, decrease hospitalizations, and lower dependence on corticosteroids, especially in patients with severe or treatment-resistant asthma.
